Wincanton has entered a consultation period with a number of staff based at the site over proposals to restructure transport operations. As a consequence, there could be a reduction in its transport team involved with the Britvic contract.
There are no proposed changes, however, to warehousing work.
A Britvic spokeswoman tells CM: "We have asked Wincanton to review transport operations, and where it could be more cost efficient."
