FREIGHT BEST PRACTICE (FEW), funded by the Department for Transport. will issue three operator packs at the CV Operator Show in April in order to help companies improve their performance.
They are aimed at owner-drivers and small fleets, fleet engineers and managers and trainers of drivers, offering free information and support to bespoke sectors of the industry.
The packs will be supported by two further programmes. the online benchmarking tool and the fuel ready reckoner, where operators can add their own results and broaden the database.
By the time of the show, which is to be held at the NEC. Birmingham. FBP hopes to have a multimodal information guide available, which pinpoints all the UK's multimodal services.
• FPS will be on stand 5671 at the CV Operator Show on 13-15 April.
