Norbert staff reject firm's initial offer
UK TRANSPORTATION employees at Norbert Dentressangle (ND) have rejected the company's initial annual negotiations offer.
An ND spokesman says: We are currently in the process of the annual negotiations around the National Agreement for 2009/10. Those negotiations take place between the company and union (Unite). The first round of voting has been to reject the company offer therefore negotiations are continuing."
Factors in the National Agreement include pay, hours and holidays. The ND spokesman says it is too early to offer a more detailed account of proposals.
Unite was unavailable for comment as CM went to press.
