Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of CV wheelloss was given fresh impetus last week when a van passenger was killed by wheels lost from a Volvo tanker.

Andrew Knell, 19, from Snodland in Kent died when the wheels broke away from an FL10 and bounced across from the opposite carriageway as he approached the Dartford tunnel in a Nissan pickup. His twin brother, driving, was seriously injured. The unnamed tanker driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by reckless driving and is on bail. He was unhurt in the accident.

The Department of Transport confirms it is completing its long-awaited report on wheel-loss. This report will give the first figures on the scale of the problem, although there has been no detailed Government research into its causes.
