YEW CODE of Practice giving guidance on the making and operatI of closed shop agreements is now in operation.
rhe code, Closed Shop Agreemts and Arrangements, apes to all employment and all osed shops. It applies whether ase are written agreements or ormal arrangements which ye grown up between em)yer and union.
It applies to closed shops alady in operation and those oposed for the future. The ovisions of the code can be ken into account by any court industrial tribunal.
The code can be obtained free pm employment offices, job intres and unemployment fices.
