Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HANIEL INTERNATIONAL Forwarders has employed the services of a Boffin to increase efficiency and improve customer service — at a cost of over E200,000.

The Boffin (the Bishopsgate On-Line Freight Forwarding Integrated system) is a computer system for forwarding freight and can be linked to computers in customers' offices and at airports and docks.

"All the basic information involved in freight forwarding is manipulated and re-written time and time again, with the consequence that invaluable staff time is wasted and errors sometimes made," said Haniel managing director Vic Stringer.

"The Boffin frees our staff to concentrate on the vital task of servicing the customer," he said.

Haniel will be using the Boffin system to help with its exports and imports.
