Redman Fisher Group Ltd, PO BOX 12, Birmingham New Road, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 9AA. A lightweight crane for lorry mounting, the VCIO is available from Redman Fisher. Although it was designed primarily for the lighter 76017,774kg (15-35cwt) capacity vehicle, it can be fitted to most commercial vehicles using the standard subframe supplied provided they have a separate chassis.
The crane features 360 continuous steering and has a load capacity of 50kg (10cwt). A captive jib extension allows three operating positions giving radii of 102cm (401n), 127cm (50in) and 153cm (60In). The manually operated pump incorporates a preset overload valve and a lowering valve with fivespeed control. Manufactured from rigid pressed steel sec tions, connected by heavyduty pins, the crane weighs 61kg (1351b).
