Palfinger (UK) Ltd, Home Farm Works, Little Billing, Northampton, NN3 4AQ. Palfinger UK offers eight models of lorry-mounted crane, ranging from the PK 4500, a 2,250kg (4,9611b) maximum capacity machine, up to the PK 16000, which has a maximum capacity of 8,000kg (1,7631b).
Optional boom extensions are available on all models, and a complete range of grabs, rotators and grapples can be supplied.
The smaller models have 360 slewing angles and the PK 9000L has a 420' angle. The two larger models, the PK 11000 and PK 16000 work on a slewing angle of 400'. Two stabilizer jacks are standard equipment but extras can be supplied. Maximum outreach of the cranes range from 5.7m (18ft Sin) for the PK 4500 to 17.6m (57ft 9in) for the PK 16000, with extensions fitted. Additional service valves and remote control equipment are obtainable at extra cost.
