Although at the moment only one version of the Loadster lorry crane is available from SAP Hydraulics, two other versions are being developed.

The current model, the Mk 2, has a maximum lifting capacity of 2.03 tonnes (2 tons) at 2.1m (7ft) maximum with outreach of 6.7m (221t). The crane is mounted on its own separate subframe which in corporates automatic doubleacting stabiliser legs. Doubleacting lift and reach rams are fitted to allow downward pressure to be exerted on the boom, and overload relief valves are incorporated. Cushion valves are fitted to the slewing cylinders to prevent shock at any point on the 360' slewing circle. The crane weighs 907.2kg (2,0001b) and operates at 13,790 kN/sqtn (2,000psi).

The next version to be announced, the Mk 3, will have a load capacity of 2.54 tonnes (2.5 tons) at 2.1m (7ft).
