All the HIAB series of lorry loaders, marketed by the 600 Group Ltd, may be specified with the EMPROC remotecontrol system. There are eight main models in the range available with a variety of different attachments and grabs to suit more applications.
The largest model, the 1560, has a maximum capacity of 5,000kg (11,022lb) at 3.10m (10ft 2in) radius with a slewing arc of 360. A six-junction valve block can be operated from each side of the vehicle. Total weight of the crane is 3,010kg (6,6221b).
The most popular model in the Hiab range is the 550 with more than 40,000 sold worldwide. They have a capacity of 3,250kg (7,1601b) at an outreach of 1.7m (5ft 7in) and a slewing arc of 360. A variety of attachments and extensions is available for all the HIAB range.
