THE Road Traffic and Travel Survey now being undertaken is expected to cost about £1,600,000 Announcing this in the Commons, Dr John Gilbert, the Minister for Transport, said that the objective would be to obtain 50,000 interviews.
The Survey, he added, would, for the first time, provide comprehensive regional data to a common standard and should reduce the need for future surveys.
