Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

More for all

THE Alltransport Group has opened a new office at Aylesbury to concentrate on its marketing facilities for the overseas freighting services and the distribution and warehousing services.

The new office is part of a development scheme to bring the company's services together and to market in the developing areas of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Mr Trevo'r Sullivan is the manager.

Turkish axles

YORK Trailers are to supply 540 of their third-axle conversion kits to a Turkish motor company as part of an agreement signed with the International Harvester company.

This £375,00 order is the largest single one to be placed for third-axle units. It follows hard on the heels of an order for 275 units worth £181,000, also to be used for converting International Loadstar trucks.

Move 'em on

GROUPAGE services operated by Coastways Freight Agencies are to be consolidated at the company's Barking depot in future.

The new arrangements mean the closure of the company's Felixstowe office and control of the Western European services will be moved to the Ilford office.

Euro-centre

SOUTHERN BRS is to build a new £175,000 warehouse for its mid-Kent branch at Aylesford, near Maidstone, to provide break-bulk facilities for European manufacturers with a centre for UK deliveries.

Said area manager Mr Brad Walker: "We will be able to bring goods from the Continent in our own vehicles direct to the new warehouse where they can be stored and then distributed nationally."
