LADY Trucker of the Year Miss Lesley Smith was among the class winners at the North Bucks heat of the LDoY contest and she was presented with a bouquet to mark the occasion.

Class F: R. Bentley, Esso, 33; Class G: D. Jarvis, Redland Roof Tiles, 72; Class H: F. Potter, Waitrose, 46.
Grimsby
WINNERS of the Grimsby heat were : Class A: R. H. Baker, Conoco, 39; Class B: K. Lang, Eastern BRS, 39; Class C: D. K. Kingdon, Conoco, 69; Class D: R. Cannon, Eastern BRS, 47; Class E: P. Oxford
ACCURATE manoeuvring gave 19-year-old M. J. Allen the class B trophy in the Oxford CMLDoY heat last week. He beat the reigning class champion and a field of 24 to win the trophy.
Winners were: Class A: W. J. Mills, Leyland, 132 penalties; Class B: M. J. Allen, L. W. Allen, Coal Merchants, 71; Class C: G. S. Shepherd, Leyland, 116; Class D: F. G. Townshend, Shell, 37; Class E: M. Davey, Leyland, 136; Class F: G. Barow, Esso, 70.
