Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TO avoid, as far as possible, the costly practice of erecting temporary 'premises at agricultural shows and other exhibitions, several of the leading banks have recently put in service well-appointed two-wheeled caravans in which all the usual banking facilities are offered. The vehicles were built by Coventry Steel Caravans, Ltd., Exchange Works, Market• Place, Warwick.

One of the finest examples has been constructed for the Westminster Bank, Ltd. It is towed by a Pickfords vehicle and is due to appear at a large number of agricultural shows this year.

It is finished externally in black synthetic enamel, and has Perspex cant panels and quarter domes. On each side is a handsome facia blended into the cant panel.

The double-skin panelling is of aluminium alloy and has an air space between the two sheets. Internally, the caravan is finished with expanded synthetic rubber, faced with oak veneer. This form of construction affords excellent insulation.

The main entrance is on the off side at the rearand leads to a public space measuring 7 ft. 9 ins, by 7 ft., in which there are easy chairs, an oak table and a heater. The counter extends across the vehicle and part of it is made in the form of a flap which can be lifted. An extractor fan is mounted in the roi-)!' above the counter.

The cashier's space affords ample room for movement and inchides a cupboard, the top of which forms a seat:

Behind the cashier's space is the interview room, with chairs and a table. In a corner, on the off side, is an aluminium cupboard, faced with oak, containing a neat Calor-gas ring and storage space for crockery. Two tubular water containers stand beside it. The interview room has its own entrance on the near side at the front. and a recessed step-well makes access easy. Both electric and Cillor-gas

lighting systems are installed. the gas is carried in two containers mounted at the front of the trailer on each side of the firock.house spring-loaded coupling of the tow bar. Provision is made for the connection of a telephone.

A mobile bank on similar tines has iiiready been purchased by Martins Bank Ltd. Lloyds Bank, Ltd., has also placed a caravan bank in service, bin in that case there is no separate room for the manager or for interviewing. The National Provincial Bank, Ltd., is not her house which has taken to caravan banking.
