ago the Romilly Motor Co., Cardiff, was appointed South Wales distributor by the Associated Equipment Co., Ltd.. and is now the oldest distributor of A.E.C. vehicles in Great Britain.
Elaborate arrangements were made to celebrate the anniversary of the appointment, and on May 13 a dinner was held in Cardiff. which was attended by the Lord Mayor and some 50 A.E.C. operators in the South Wales area. On May 27 all the Romilly company's employees visited London and the A.E.C. factory at Southall.

Blake, A M .I.E.E., (managing director of the South Wales Transport Co., Ltd.), Mr. T. G. Richardson, M.Inst.T. (retiring general manager of the Rhondda Transport Co.. Lid.), and Mr. C. A.

TWO papers by north-country authors are to be read at the annual conference of the Municipal Passenger Transport .Association, to be held at Liverpool from June 15-18. 100 A.E.C.s FOR BARCELONA THE first of a new fleet of 100 AEC.
(Ada) Regent Mark III doubledeck buses is about to go into service in Barcelona. the second largest city in Spain. The vehicles are to be equipped with locally built bodies, and will be operated by the Socicdad Financiera Inclustrias y Transportes S.A.
"Ihey will have half-cabs arranged for left-hand drive, with a central entrance ancl exit. The buses have 9.(1-litre oil engines, fluid transmission systems and air-operated brakes, and are being introduced to replace trams.
Suffolk executive committee of the National Farmers' Union, representing over 3,800 farmers, is to press strongly for priority for agriculturists in the supply of commercial. vehicles.
