Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HOLDINGS has bought the trade and assets of Heywood-based CFT Services.

The business, a Pallet-Track member, will continue to operate from its depot in Green Lane, but will now trade under the Birds Transport & Logistics name.

Ballyvesey, which also owns Montgomery Transport, bought Birds Groupage Services in February this year, subsequently renaming it Birds Transport & Logistics. It continues to be run separately from Montgomery Transport.

In a statement, Ballyvesey, which completed the deal on 28 June, said: "Ballyvesey is delighted to make this acquisition, which provides Birds with a strategic loca tion in the North West, in line with their future development plans.

"Robin Davies, MD of Birds Transport & Logistics and based at Oldbury, Birmingham, will oversee the integration, supported by the loyal staff and employees transferring from the CFT business. The company is confident the increase of this facility and these resources will enhance the UK, Irish, European and Pallet-Track network services provided by the enlarged company." Pallet-Track MD Nigel Parkes welcomed the deal and said it would be business as usual, with the new entity continuing to cover the same areas, namely some of Manchester and the OL postcode (Rochdale).

Vosa records show CFT Services has an 0-licence for up to 50 vehicles and 80 trailers at its Heywood site. It also has an 0-licence for a second site in Wednesbury for 20 vehicles and 30 trailers, but it is not known if this location is included in the deal.
