• Tidd Trailers chairman Hector Tidd has taken over the dayto-day running of the troubled company. Managing director Neil Dick and manufacturing director Tony Barber have left.
Last Friday a creditors' meeting voted unanimously to back the Sandy, Beds-based manfuac turer, whose future has been in doubt (CM 27 June-3 July).
Tidd, which is 110 years old, was set up by Hector Tidd's great-grandfather.
Its biggest selling products are dry freight boxes, but it also builds reefer and insulated trailers and box vans.
