Your article on lorry-mounted cranes (CM 30 May-5 June) ended with an incorrect statement. Our two competitors you mentioned are not the only UK subsidiaries of manufacturing parents.
We are wholly owned by our Danish parent, Hojbjerg Maskin Fabrik A/S, and have two Danish directors, one of whom is the sole private owner of the Danish group.
Furthermore we are exclusively dedicated to HMF Cranes, have a 20,000ft2 complex, carry £500,000-worth of stock (of which more than half is spare parts) and run two fully equipped demo rigs.
We have 20 retailing/ installing distributors throughout the UK and Ireland.
