/ Mazda has introduced a range of passenger conversions for the E-Series van it upgraded two years ago.
Conversions have previously been available, but only from some Mazda dealers which introduced their own passenger version of the 10-year-old van, mainly for building and construction firms.
Mazda's passenger-carrying E-Series range, the Autotrekker, includes a 12-seater crewbus conversion, in which the seats can be folded against the side walls to allow its use as a conventional van. The conversion costs £1,849 (ex-VAT).
The range also includes a school minibus design with 12 forward facing seats which costs £3,121 (ex-VAT), and a 12-seat luxury minibus which costs £5,785 (ex-VAT).
Each of the bodies is available on the two-litre petrol van, which costs £9,857 (inc VAT), or on the 2.2-litre diesel, which costs £10,891 (inc VAT).
