FRENCH, German and English signs have been erected near Laffrey, south of Grenoble on the Route Napoleon, to divert upwards of 4,000 coaches a year from a section of road on which several serious runaway accidents have occurred in the last two years. Sole exceptions will be vehicles operated by four local companies on regular services in the district.
