During a recent agricultural show photographer Dick Ross overheard what must rate as one of the :best pieces of sales resistance of the summer season. After a salesman on one of the commercial vehicle exhibits had spent 20 minutes expounding the glories of a particular vehicle to a prospective farmer buyer, that son of the soil posed the inevitable question:
"How much?"
"£17,700," was the reply.
