Seeing the piece in CM recently about the Ogle facelift for the Alexander miclibus reminded me that Ogle celebrate 21 years as design consultants this year. The company recently ran a coming-of-age display of some of the vehicles with which it has been involved and, apart from the more exotic car designs, there were quite a few commercials.,
The interior of the Seddon Atkinson Mk III cab was styled by Ogle, their contribution including the Light tan trim and the large grab-handles, while the Motor Panels cab shown at Baris Court last year, with a central driving position, also came off their drawing boards. I was interested to discover that the new Dunlop driving seat with pneumatic suspension was one of Ogle's designs.
In the coach field, of course, Ogle have been consultant designers for the body and interior of Plexton coaches since 1963.
