Life begins at 40 or perhaps in the case of Bob Parkhouse of Benfieet, Essex, at 42. After years experience with heavy goods vehicles and coaches, Bob has decided that he and hi wife should go off on a private adventure.
Very soon now they are taking a motorised caravan all the way to Australia and driving as far as they can before getting on board ship. The route wi,l1 take them through Europe, Asia Minor, Iran, Afghanistan and India. Bob's latest job in the UK has involved him in delivering commercial vehicles for the Ford Motor Company and, on occasions, he has delivered vehicles to CM. Because we are old friends he has promise to keep us in touch with the more undsual aspects of his latest "delivery" job.
