trailers have cambered axles. There are exceptions, but as a general rule automatic-coupling models from this maker have a cambered beam with fifthwheel types having straight beams. It is difficult to understand how an axle with an upward camber can be considered faulty without evidence of a "bump" as any permanent set caused by excessive loading would produce a downward camber. It is understood that a Scammell representative has now called with Mr. Wallace at his local MoT station to put matters right and that the trailers have now been passed.--Ed.)
