When is a bus not a bus? When it's carrying goods by sea. No, I haven't gone completely crazy: the explanation of that riddle is really quite simple. Daimler is currently supplying a large batch of front-engined double-decker bus chassis to Kowloon. And for the sea journey the long-wheelbase chassis are being fitted with a light wooden framework so that freight can be stowed in an otherwise wasted space. For which, I'm told, there'll be a quite useful rebate on the shipping charge.
