• Mr. H. R. Featherstone, director, FTA, on Monday said that failure to tackle overnight lorry parking was another sign of the nation's failure to come to terms with the motor age.
"What is needed", he said, "is a proper programme, co-ordinating lorry parks, overnight accommodation and catering facilities."
