Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

at Grimsby by David Lowe

• With a field of 85 entrants, 14 up on last year, this year's North Lincolnshire LDoY round held on Courtland's premises at Grimsby on Sunday was again notable for its large entries in Classes G and H. Nearly half the competitors were entered in these classes and Class H consisted only of articulated tankers.

No Class A was run and there was only a small entry for Class D.

S. Chapman of Shell-Mex and BP Ltd. who was overall champion and Class E2 winner in two previous years, again won the class but failed by 8 marks to become overall champion, the honour this year going to A. Barrett of Continental Oil Co. Ltd., winner of Class F2 and the best C licensed driver award.

Clugston Transport Ltd., with 10 entries, collected the team prize and one of its drivers, G. Graham, winner of Class G. collected the best A or B licensed driver award.

An unusual occurrence was the ties of penalty marks in two classes C and Fl, the winner of each being decided on the marks lost on the road sections and Highway Code questions.

From the nine classes run four oilmen go forward to Bramcote—two from Shell-Mex and BP and one each from Total and Continental.
