Romae Industrim, Lid., announces that after allowing for depreciation, the balance for the year ended March 31 last was £29,875. A dividend of 10 per cent. is being paid on the ordinary shares, Maxima Lubricants, Lid., made a group profit in the year ended March 31, of £33,158. before taxation of £19,865. The amount carried forward by the parent company was £43,629. A dividend of 40 per cent, less lax Is declared.

Sunderland Transport Department lost 1120,529 in the financial year ended March 31. compared with £2,864 in the previous 12 months. It is expected that fares increases implemented in December, 1951, will raise revenue by £97.000 Per annum, Rennld and Coventry Chain Co., Ltd., made a group profit of £779,772 in the past financial year. Taxafion of £444,100 had to be deducted from WS SM. A final dividend of 9 per cenL is to be paid on the ordinary stock, making 12 per cent, for the year.

King's Maims (Oxford), Ltd., showed a profit for the year to March 31 of £240,717, subiect to final audit. Provisional reserve for taxation is £150,390. A final dividend of 50 per cent. on the increased capital and „the interim dividend at 20 per cent. on the smaller capital make 70 per tent, for the year.

Sentinel (Shrewsbury) Ltd., reports that in the period to March 31 last, the profit, after allowing for depreciation, was £64,111. from which taxtition of £38.426 had to be deducted. After accounting for other charges, the net profit was L5,124, A dividend of 5 per cent. is being paid on the otdinary shares.

The London General Cab Co., Ltd., made a consolidated net profit for 1951 of £9.097, atter tax deductions of £13,907. This compares with a net profit of £6.355 for the previous year. A sum of £6.248 has been devoted to depreciation of investments and £20.838 carried forward. No dividend is to be paid.

Barr' and Walbee Arnold Trust made a consolidated profit of £l36,880 for 1951. This was increased by other income to £138.1541, but atter depreciation at £65,108 the 'balance became

' £61,037 to which was added £22,856 overprovision for tax. From the total remaining, tax

at £23,824 and other income tax at £41 were deducted. The carry forward was £66.342. An ordinary dividend of 20 per cent, is declared.
