• Associated Tyre Specialists has launched Flatmate, a tyre inflater and fire extinguisher in one, The cylinder is filled with carbon dioxide, and when it is full can be used as an extinguisher.
The emergency product, in two versions, can be used on vans, up to 38-tonne trucks, and there is a fitted dial to measure the correct tyre pressure. The larger size costs £37 excluding value-added tax.
