• London-based removals company Tooth Transport has been acquired by Corfield in a deal which combines the two companies' operations to southern France.
The acquisition gives Corfield new depots in Southall and Antibes in France, and doubles the fleet to six vehicles including three roadtrains.
Tony Graham, managing director of New Milton-based Corfield, says he may now search for an additional London depot. "1993 is creeping up quickly, and I am determined that this company will be more than ready for the changes it will bring."
Ashley Tooth, managing director of Tooth Transport will become European sales director of Corfield.
