Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AFTER an absence of more than 15 years, Land Rover is to re-enter the US market with the Range Rover.

A wholly-owned subsidiary, Range Rover of North America Inc, has been set up by Land Rover-Leyland which hopes to have sonic 60 dealers by the end of the year or early 1987.

Between three to four thousand units are expected to be sold in the first 12 months.

The hunt for prospective dealers will be limited to those already selling prestige European vehicles in the US, such as Mercedes, Porsche and Jaguar.

Left-hand-drive Range Rovers will be modified to meet US Federal impact and emission regulations.

CM expects sales to be restricted mainly to the recently launched top-of-the-range Vogue model which is fitted with the latest, and most powerful, 123kW (165hp) V8 petrol engine with Lucas electronic fuel injection.

Although Land Rovers were originally sold in America over 15 years ago (before the introduction of the Range Rover), the company says it has no intention of launching the current Ninety or One-Ten range in the US off the back of the Range Rover. Range Rover is currently sold in more than 80 markets worldwide.
