)ALE Emergency Products I Scarborough has produced new vehicle-mounted atixiliry alternator which can he tted to most light commerials or tractors, and provides p to 2,500 Watts of AC ower for power tools or mergcncy equipment.
The Powermite unit, which ; 279mm long and 127min in iameter, is available in 110 ,r 220 volt versions and inhides a voltage regulator, ohmeter and switch. It is 'riven by a conventional belt. As the Powermite is eparate from the vehicle's iwn electrical system, it does lot drain power from the batcry. Price for the 110 volt mit is S:485 plus VAT, while he 220 volt Powermite costs 545 plus VAT.
