GAC IRELAND, the Irish Republic's American-owned bus mannt:icturer, plans to lay off its entire worktOrce of 200 from this month.
The company, which is building a lightweight rearunglued rural bus for operation by United Automobile Services, has been hit by delays in the Irish Government's plans to buy new school buses.
