EST MIDLANDS Traffic munissioner Ronald JackLI gave express services and ach tour operators in his

a pre-Christmas dressing ,wn about coaches breaking otorway speed limits.

Following recent motorway eident checks by DepartCut of Transport traffic aminers on the tachograph cords of the operators conrued revealed that 26 per nt of their coaches were caking motorway limits. As a result Jackson called the chairmen and managing directors of the operators to a meeting at the Traffic Area office where he made clear that the Commissioners would not tolerate this in future.
