Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DIESEL fuel heater which traps water and gives improved fuel consumption has been launched by Parte°.

The unit heats fuel to 50°C, controlled by thermostat. As well as preventing wax formation at low temperatures this produces improved fuel vaporisation all the year round and, hence, better fuel economy, the company claims. Independent operators who have been testing the unit have achieved 111 per cent fuel savings, it adds.

At the same time the transparent filter bowl collects moisture present in the fuel. When filled, the bowl is simply unscrewed and removed.

The fuel heater is installed between the fuel tank and lift pump. It often replaces the existing water trap, in which case no drilling or fuel-pipe modifications are necessary.

Two versions are available: 12v/150W and 24v/180W. Trade price is 1257.50 plus VAT.
