designed with continuous operation in mountainous areas in mind, has been developed by Graf und Stilt, Vienna. It is called the Alpen-Eurobus, and has a 150-b.h.p. 9-5-litre six-cylinder diesel engine, the peak torque output of which is 377 lb. ft. The coach seats 38 passengers, has a gross-weight rating of 11 metric tons, and a claimed top speed of nearly 60 m.p.h. It is 32 ft. long and 8 ft. 2-5 in. wide, and the overall height is 9 ft. 4 in. The sixspeed gearbox gives a bottom-gear grade ability of 1 in 2-4, and the vehicle went into series production on January 1.
