WO of the latest British Standards, I B.S. 1802 and B.S. 1798 respectively, cover spring washers and terminology concerning gas quantities in internal-combustion engines. They may be obtained from the British Standards Institution, 24, Victoria Street, London, S.W.1, at 2s. (B.S. 1802) and Is. 6d. (B.S. 1798), postage included.
Two other new standards include Part One of the British Standard Code of Practice for Street Lighting, dealing with traffic routes (C.P. 1004:1951), price 4s. postage included, and emergency specifications for case-hardening steels, an addendum to B.S. 970:1951, price ls. postage included.
As from January 1, 1952, the name of W. W. Jenkins (Cheltenham), Ltd., was changed to Telehoist, Ltd.
