ALTHOUGH it had been the intention of Westcliff-on-Sea Motor Services, Ltd., to take over the services of City Coach Co., Ltd., last Monday, permission for the transfer had not, on that day, been given by the Metropolitan Licensing Authority.
Decision was reserved after the application had been heard on December 10 to permit the final completion of contracts which had been held up because permission from the Town and Country Planning authorities was . required for the conversion of a building to a bus garage.. This permission had not been received earlier this week.
