1--IN Monday thc Road .1-faulagc: Executive announced that in future, its vehicles are to be fitted With two' rear lights, each separately wired and incorporating underrun-filament bulbs and red 'orifices larger than normal. Brake lights will also be fitted. In addition, red reflectors will be placed at each side and a white area painted at the rear of each vehicle.
Many of the 40,000 RICE, vehicles, although complying with. the law, are not up to the standard of lighting considered desirable by the Executive. These will be dealt with as quickly as materials can be obtained.
