EXTRA BOOTH FOR SEVERN • An additional toll booth is to be built on the westbound carriageway of the M4 at the Severn Bridge toll plaza. Work is expected to take 12 weeks to complete.
The new, ninth booth will replace the temporary booth previously used during the peak traffic flows last summer. The Department of Transport advises drivers that although four booths will continue to be available in each direction during the contract period, extra care should be taken near the toll plaza.
