CLASSIFY CORRECTLY • A notice explaining the importance of classifying goods correctly has been published by HM Customs and Excise. It aims to make sure that no traders pay more than the correct amount of duty and VAT. The new document, 600, replaces leaflet CDC 100, issued last year as part of the Customs 88 changes.

ACCIDENT REPORT • The Health and Safety Executive is printing two million free leaflets reminding employers of their duty, outlined in new regulations to report accidents at work.
