• Christian Salveson's hanging garment service, Salstream, is building a multimillion pound distribution centre in Leeds to service its Marks & Spencer contract in north-east England.
No opening date has been set and construction has not begun, but Salveson cites the contract as evidence of its
"rapidly expanding" Salstream division. The Leeds centre is expected to create 400 jobs.
Another Salstream centre also working for Marks & Spencer, is due to open in the Wembley area later this year. It will link into the present centres at West Cross in Middlesex, Inverness, and Hardwick in Warrington.
