• Another vehicle has been added to the fleet which the Scottish Blood Transfusion Service uses to transport nurses on blood transfusion duties. The vehicle, a Wadham Stringer Vanguard II 29-seater built on a Dodge G10 passenger chassis, includes full coach seats, luggage racks incorporating forced air vents and a pivot air door.
In addition to its two floor heaters, an Eberspacher combustion heater has been fitted. Livery is finished in pearl white ICI Pearlcoat.
The vehicle will be based at Law Hospital in Carluke.
