• Clacton-based Chartercoach is to close down its Coastal Red subsidiary, which operates on the north east Essex coast. Seventeen drivers have been given one month's notice. Chartercoach will continue to operate its private hire and excursions business. Eastern National now owns the Coastal Red depot and takes over all Coastal Red services.
