Based on the Eurolowbed low-loader range, the tri-axle unit extends from 8.5m to 13.1m and has a nominal load width of 2.75m, to gives a 3.3m maximum width.
Hydraulic suspension provides load equalisation, and all three axles are power-steered from the kingpin in both forward and reverse, to comply with West German requirements for over-length combinations. A manual override is fitted for extremely tight manoeuvring.
Nootehoom's hydraulically-adjustable and detatchable gooseneck offers variable headroom and ground clearance to facilitate decoupling on uneven ground.
The Dutch-built unit was supplied by HSE of Corby, Nooteboom's sole UK distributor.
