The new model's weight, size and gear ratios are unchanged from the original TS() 11612 transmission, which has an 1,560Nm torque capacity. A version capable of handling up to 2,000Nm could be developed if the current trend towards more powerful engines continues.

The compound-ratio P-TOs announced at last year's Frankflirt Motor show can be supplied for use with Twin-Splitter units. Both are rear-mounted on the gearbox's lower left countershaft and offer ratios of 1:1.1/1.5 or 1:1.3/2.0.
