Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LIGHT VEHICLES also need protection against rust, so Gunston Colorplugs has introduced a quick electroplating technique which can be over painted within seconds of application and can restore full rust protection between the steel body of a vehicle and the paint. Supplied in a neat kit, it includes a glass fibre abrasive pencil for localised rust removal, When the exposed steel is clean, a mop-ended electrode in the kit is attached to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery dipped in a special electrolyte fluid.

Gentle rubbing with the electrode mop on the exposed steel removes any residual microscopic particles of rust, and deposits a zinc/tin alloy which is bonded to the steel providing a keyway for paint, The alloy is deposited as a smooth grey coating, which can be washed and dried before applying paint. Cost is £6.50 excluding VAT.

Gunstons Coforplugs, 40 Warton Road, London E15 2JU.
