Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FIRST authorised regular coach service between London and Italy is to be operated by Wallace Arnold Ltd and its partners, VAI (General de Transport et d'Industrie) of Paris, and SHA of Florence.

It will run weekly between London, Paris and Rome.

The authorisation is the culmination of over two years' preparation, negotiation and application, and Wallace Arnold says that it is the beginning of a network of international coach services.

Normally, foreign coaches on service are not allowed into the UK because the passenger door is on the offside here, but if authority is granted, such coaches are not allowed to pick up and set down on the public highway but only in such places as coach stations.

From April 1 to October 31, coaches will depart from London on Friday mornings arriving in Paris in the evening, and in Rome on Saturday evening.

Return journeys will leave Rome on Tuesday mornings, Paris on Wednesday mornings and arrive in London by early evening the same day.

Fares range from £13 (single) to Paris and £32 (single) to Rome, to £25 (return) to Paris and £55.50 (return) to Rome.
