Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A portable, compact hand lamp — the Transit Light — which works from any 12V battery has been made by Lab-Craft. Claimed to be brighter than an equivalent incandescent light unit, it gives a light output equal to a 40W bulb, and without either the heat or the glare.

Its size, 12in. x 1 x 2in., enables the lamp to be hung in confined spaces. A handle enables it to be carried, acts as a mounting and allows the unit to pivot, casting light in any direction required.

A 15ft lead complete with clips for battery attachment is supplied, and a push-on/off switch is mounted on the back of the casing.

A 12 or 24V ac/dc industrial model is also available to illuminate machinery and vehicle inspection pits.
