• A survey of 20 hospitals on Tyneside is being undertaken by the Tyneside PTE this month. All hospital out-patients, in-patients and visitors will be asked to complete a simple questionnaire to provide information on how they travelled to hospital, and on any difficulties encountered.
PTE representatives together with hospital staff will question out-patients and visitors, while hospital staff will approach in-patients on behalf of the Executive. Each hospital will be surveyed over a period of one full week.
